This webinar is the third in a series intended to provide teachers support in delivering instruction online.
This webinar will provide a window into the planning, implementing, and reflecting associated with curriculum, instruction, and assessment delivered in an online setting. Teachers from Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy (MGLVA) will share video examples of lesson planning and classroom instruction and offer insights into the decisions they make in developing their learning plans.
Educators who register for this event will be asked to view posted video clips (posted one week prior to the event) prior to attending the webinar on Tuesday, June 16 event. Videos will show examples of online planning and instruction, and teachers will describe the decision-making needed in elementary and secondary settings to achieve learning targets. PLEASE NOTE: It is important for participants to review video clips prior to June 16. We will be using the breakout feature of Zoom to encourage dialogue and small group interaction.
Outcomes:
- Increased awareness of online learning strategies that engage students
- Understanding about what makes effective learning plans
- Appreciation for the role planning plays in the delivery of online lessons
