Common Assessment Development Modules

Create and use high-quality common assessments.

Through a generous grant from MAISA, a comprehensive module series was created to show local Michigan educators how to build and use common assessments. The series was piloted during 2010-11, and revised by the development team.

Each module includes a PowerPoint presentation, script, user’s guide, and companion documents.  Use the materials as is, or adapt them for local use.

The team who collaborated to create these modules is:

Kathy Dewsbury-White, Michigan Assessment Consortium
Bruce Fay, Retired from Wayne RESA
James Gullen, Macomb ISD
Edward Roeber, Michigan Assessment Consortium
Ellen Vorenkamp, Wayne RESA
Kimberly Young, Michigan Department of Education
